Tsurune Season 2 Reveals OP&ED Theme Song Artists And Screening In Early December
The production team of the second season of Tsurune revealed the artists who will perform the opening and ending theme songs. It was also announced that the first two episodes of the anime will be pre-screened in Japan on December 25, 2022, before its premiere in January 2023.
Japanese pop rock band Luck Life will sing the second season opening theme “℃” (pronounced “Do-Si”). Meanwhile, Tei will perform the ending theme song “Hitominaka”.
The voice back for Tsurunethe second season understand Yuuto Uemura like Minato Narumiya, kenshou ono like Shuu Fujiwara, and Jun Fukuyama like Eisuke Nikaidou.
Takuya Yamamura returns to direct the animated series after working on the first season and the film. Michiko Yokote (The greatest demon lord is reborn as a typical person) works as a screenwriter for the series, Miku Kadowaki (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S) takes care of the character design, and Nobuaki Maruki (Amagi Brilliant Park) oversees the main direction of animation. Animation of Kyoto is again in charge of the animation production of the second season.
Other staff include Masaru Yokoyama (Urusei Yatsura 2022) as a music composer, Hiroshi Karada (Free! The last blow) as an accessories designer, Youta Tsuruoka (Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story) as sound director, and Shoko Ochiai (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S) as artistic director.
Tsurune first premiered in 2018 and ran for 13 episodes with an unaired OVA episode. It is based on a series of light novels written by Kotoko Ayano with illustrations of Chinatsu Morimoto which was first released on December 26, 2016. The series is released under Kyoto Animation’s KA Esuma Bunko label with three physical volumes released in August 2022.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season when it aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks acquired distribution rights in North America, Australia, New Zealand, South America, and other territories.

When Narumiya Minato joins Kazemai Prefectural High School, he is soon invited to join the archery club by the club’s advisor, Tommy-sensei. His childhood friends Takehaya Seiya and Yamanouchi Ryohei quickly agree to join them, but Minato is hesitant at first. Because Minato is the rare student with experience in archery, Tommy-sensei orders him to demonstrate, which Minato does… except his arrow doesn’t hit the target. It is revealed that Minato has developed a terrible dysfunction regarding archery.
